Storylane RepX

RepX(opens in a new tab) is an AI sales agent from Storylane. It answers buyer questions, qualifies leads and books demos on your site.

Add RepX to your Webflow site

This app adds the RepX AI sales agent from Storylane to a Webflow site you choose. It takes about two minutes. You need a RepX agent in Storylane and a Webflow site you can edit.

1. Create your RepX agent

If you don't have one yet, sign up for RepX and set up your agent in Storylane.

2. Add RepX to your site

  1. Open the app and click Connect Webflow. Approve access for the site you want to use.
  2. If you're signed in to Storylane in the same browser, the app shows your RepX agents. Pick one and skip the next step.
  3. Choose the site from the list.
  4. Copy your RepX script from your RepX embed settings in Storylane and paste the whole script into the box. The app checks that the agent exists before you can save.
  5. Click Save. RepX is now added to your site, but it is not live yet.

3. Publish your site

Webflow shows changes to visitors only after you publish. Open your site in Webflow and click Publish. The app checks your live site every few seconds and shows RepX is live once the change appears.

Turn RepX off or on

Click Turn off next to the RepX status at the bottom of the setup card. Your script stays saved, so you can turn RepX back on at any time. Publish your site after turning it off or on.

Remove RepX before you uninstall

Turn RepX off and publish your site before you uninstall the app. If you already uninstalled it, open your site in Webflow, go to Site settings › Custom code, remove the script named RepXLoader, and publish.

What the app adds to your site

One small script named RepXLoader in the footer of every page. It reads your RepX ID and loads the RepX agent from js.storylane.io. The app never changes your other custom code, and it never publishes your site for you.

Permissions the app asks for

Your data

The app stores your Webflow access token, encrypted, and the RepX ID for each site where you add RepX. It does not read your pages, CMS content, forms or members. RepX itself receives the page address and what visitors type into the chat. See the Storylane privacy policy and terms of service.
